Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to review the feminist movement, thought and politics that have taken great strength among Latin American women, mainly young women, who have taken to the streets raising their voices to view the violence they suffer daily in all public and private Spaces in which they operate. This chronology seeks to give an account of how feminist theorizations have influenced the consolidation of an explanatory baggage about women’s reality. A look at what happened in Mexico with feminism is provided.
