About the Journal

Última Década is a biannual journal published by the Youth Research and Action Nucleus, that belongs to the Sociology Department of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Universidad de Chile. It is defined as a journal specialized on youth-related matters, with a multidisciplinary approach and dedicated to dissemination of works from social sciences, education, and humanities.

The thematic fields of interest are youth cultures; youth social and political participation; gender, diversities and dissent in youth worlds; generational and intersectional perspectives to observe youth dynamics in society; the various spheres in which the youth is produced and in which young people are deployed in our society: family, educational system, communities, diverse territories, public policies, among others.

Accepts contributions in the categories of articles, presentations or communications in congress, review articles, states of the art, essays, and reviews (of books, movies, audiovisual material and others).

Articles published on Última Década are indexed or summarized by:
