Abstract

This article describes and analyzes the communitarian caring network that women of the Tosepan Pajti Cooperative do for the reproduction of life in Sierra Norte from Puebla, Mexico. This approach allows us to identify the existence of a communitarian caring network where women have been doing activities such as feeding, agriculture and the claim of knowledge to reproduce territorial life. Besides, this article shows the tensions and contradictions that could be found in the analyzed processes and how these go through the cooperative women’s lives. The concepts of communitarian caring and caring network are used as the main analytical tools. It is concluded that women politicize through care, and despite the contradictions, these activities are for the reproduction of life.
